The Wave Hotel and Condominium is a proposed development project designed by Mario Kleff, located in Bang Saray, Thailand. The development was planned by Bang Saray Development Co., Ltd., with John Sheehan as the developer. It consisted of two 8-story buildings with a V-shaped configuration, intended to integrate a condominium and a hotel in a central location. The design featured modern architectural elements, including clean lines and the use of materials such as green-reflecting window glass on the balconies and a two-tone granite façade. The complex was planned to include black granite-tiled swimming pools with an integrated pool bar and glass-skinned elevators.
A distinctive feature of the design was the V-shape of the buildings, with an aluminum grill positioned between the building flanges. This grill was intended to conceal air-conditioning compressors and reduce noise, contributing both functionally and aesthetically to the structure.
The concept for The Wave, including its name, was developed by Mario Kleff. The project successfully navigated the planning and approval processes, with Kleff and his team producing full construction blueprints and securing the necessary construction permits from Thai authorities. However, the project was never built despite receiving the required permits.
