Laguna Bay 1, also known as Park Royal 4, is a condominium development located on Pratumnak Soi 5 in Pattaya, Thailand. Designed by architect Mario Kleff, the project was developed by Heights Holdings. It is part of a series that includes Laguna Bay 2 and Park Royal 1-3, with Laguna Bay 1 reflecting the architectural principles applied in the Park Royal series.
The eight-story building features a grid-like façade with large glass panels and concrete frames, balancing transparency with structural solidity. This modular design allows for natural light to penetrate the building while ensuring resident privacy. The repetitive rectangular balconies create visual rhythm and uniformity, embodying a modernist aesthetic.
Rooftop amenities include a swimming pool and fitness center, offering recreational facilities with panoramic views of the surrounding area and the Gulf of Thailand. These features align with the standards of contemporary urban living in Pattaya.
Construction began in December 2010 and was completed by December 2012. Kleff’s design for Laguna Bay 1 emphasizes structural clarity, environmental responsiveness, and practical living spaces. The architectural style integrates modernist principles with local environmental considerations, ensuring both visual harmony and long-term functionality.
