Park Royal 1 is an eight-storey residential condominium located at the base of Buddha Hill in Pattaya, approximately 500 metres south of the city centre. The building was designed by Mario Kleff and comprises 36 residential units.
Each unit incorporates a limited material palette, including concrete finishes together with fitted kitchens and bathroom installations.
Development and Construction
The project was developed by Heights Holdings and completed in December 2009. The initial architectural concept included exposed concrete as a primary material. During construction, aspects of the design were revised in response to budgetary constraints, resulting in modifications to material application.
Architectural Character
The building is defined by linear geometry and functionally organised layouts. The façade incorporates a consistent arrangement of openings and structural elements.
Project Context
Park Royal 1 represents a mid-rise residential development within Pattaya, incorporating reinforced concrete construction and simplified material application within its final built form.
