South Beach Boutique Chic, also known as South Beach Condominium, is an architectural project located on Phra Tamnak Hill in Pattaya City, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri 20150, Thailand. The development was designed by German architect Mario Kleff, recognized for his modernist and innovative designs.
Architect and Developer:
Mario Kleff, leading Wandeegroup, was the principal architect behind South Beach Boutique Chic. The project was developed in collaboration with Beach Properties, who oversaw the conception, marketing, and project management.
Design and Construction:
The building was originally conceived as an example of Bauhaus architecture in Pattaya, emphasizing clean lines, functional design, and a minimalist aesthetic. It features a rooftop swimming pool with panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand. The interior design follows minimalist principles, primarily utilizing a black and white color scheme with minimal decorative elements.
Awards:
In 2012, South Beach Boutique Chic received recognition at the Thailand Property Awards, winning the Best Boutique Condo Development on the Eastern Seaboard.
Additional Information:
The development consists of 48 individual apartments, ranging from 32 to 72 square meters, across an eight-story building. Amenities include a rooftop swimming pool, sundeck with sea and island views, covered car park, and a main lobby entrance with 24-hour security.
During construction, modifications were made to the original design, resulting in deviations from the initial Bauhaus concept. These changes included alterations to the facade and material substitutions, which impacted both the aesthetic and functional characteristics of the building.
