The master planned community of Tesoro Viejo creates a blueprint for balanced development in burgeoning Madera County, California. Field Paoli worked with the developer to master plan the non-residential aspects of the project, including a town center that is anticipated to eventually support up to three million square feet of shopping, dining, commercial and light industrial space. Currently, the town center features a coffee bar and restaurant, a 4,600-square-foot fire station, a 7,800-square-foot welcome center and an event lawn. Adjacent to these, Field Paoli is designing a new 10,000-squarefoot brewing facility and tasting room. The building’s stone facade, barn doors, and shed roof are inspired by the agrarian history of the site.
