When Holland Partner Group came to us to ask if we would work with Monique & Paul Feybesse to create their first brick-and-mortar bakery, we jumped at the chance. We are foodies, after all. After taking time to understand their brand, our design goal became to create a contemporary pâtisserie that embodies a bright, glassy, clean, and modern aesthetic, with a central focus on showcasing both the exquisite pastries and the theater of the baking process. Utilizing materials such as polished concrete, light gray tile, warm black/metallic pendant lights all resulting in an environment that provides a sophisticated stage to showcase the beautiful blend of French and Filipino-inspired edible artistry.
