El Sabino is an 18-apartment residential development in Mérida completed in 2020. Conceived as a greener and more generous model of communal living, the 2,710-square-meter building preserves existing trees and incorporates four distinct landscaped areas. Its central “plazola” creates a park on the second level, while movable steel screens give residents individual control over shade and solar exposure and continuously change the façade. FORMM guided the project from site selection through the end of construction.
