The Eurokars MG & IM Showroom brings two distinct automotive identities together within a single architectural setting. Located in Singapore, the showroom is designed to accommodate the contrasting character of MG and IM Motors while establishing a cohesive environment for both brands. The design seeks to create a considered retail experience where architecture supports the vehicles, brand identity and movement through the space.
Named Next Horizon, the design concept explores a clean and contemporary interpretation of the automotive showroom. White tones, smooth surfaces and simple geometric forms establish a sense of openness and clarity, creating a restrained backdrop that allows the vehicles and their individual identities to take prominence. The composition is deliberately uncluttered, with balanced proportions and streamlined forms creating an environment that feels both contemporary and enduring.
The concept also provides a common architectural language for two brands with markedly different visual identities. MG’s strong red branding brings energy and expression, while IM Motors adopts a more minimalist and industrial character. Rather than treating these differences as competing elements, the spatial design allows each brand to retain its individuality within a shared architectural framework.
Lighting plays an important role in defining the showroom experience. Within the IM display area, multiple suspended lighting elements are consolidated into a single, larger feature fixture. Positioned as a sculptural focal point, it creates a distinct visual moment while maintaining flexibility for vehicle placement on the floor below.
The exterior adopts a restrained composition of a white base façade and dark columns, providing a clear architectural frame for the showroom. Dual pylon signage for MG and IM establishes the presence of both marques from the approach, extending the dual-brand strategy from the interior to the street.
Across the showroom, open sightlines, smooth surfaces and controlled visual elements maintain a sense of continuity. The resulting environment balances brand expression with architectural restraint, bringing two distinct automotive worlds together through a shared language of clarity, proportion and light.
