Recently completed in Camarines Sur, V Dorm was designed around a simple question: How can a dormitory encourage people to connect?
At the heart of the project is a communal space designed to bring people together naturally. It creates opportunities for interaction, from quick conversations and casual gatherings to simply seeing and engaging with one another throughout the day.
For us, a dormitory is more than a place to sleep and return to. It is also a place to connect, interact, and belong.
Color plays an equally important role in shaping the experience of the space. Vibrant colors were intentionally introduced not only to give the building a distinct character, but also to create an environment that feels positive, energetic, and optimistic. The goal was to make everyday living feel more vibrant and enjoyable.
Because architecture is not only about how a space functions. It is also about how a space makes people feel.
Ultimately, V Dorm is more than a place to stay. It is a place to meet, connect, and belong, an architecture shaped around the idea that meaningful spaces can bring people closer.
