With over 20 exceptional dining options available, the MGM Grand Las Vegas offers something to satisfy every palette. For the lovers of Italian cuisine, Luchini Italian Restaurant is the ideal spot to visit. This Italian-American eatery draws inspiration from the bold flavors of New York, offering a fresh twist on traditional Italian dishes. Luchini’s interior is reminiscent of classic New York Italian spots, with plenty of cozy booths and long communal tables for larger parties.
For the restaurant’s unique booth design, Pulp Studio supplied Annealed Bent Laminated 697LI (fluted) – PVB – Low Iron glass. This project features single-axis bent glass, as the glass supplied was for full panels bent with a 42 13/16” radius. Single axis bending creates glass that is curved in one dimension but still straight in the other. This technique allows for the production of half-cylinders, S-shaped curves, waves and partially flat forms, which is how this project achieved the distinct concave shape of the booths. Each piece of glass was also fluted to create the intricate, ribbed pattern and privacy between each booth.
