As part of its expansion and global brand positioning, Kanetora entrusted ICADVietnam with the design and construction of its office. To fully express Kanetora’s spirit of “Strength – Beyond”, the design team developed a “Core-Driven Design” concept, in which the office’s central core represents strength and stability, while the circulatory spatial flow surrounding it symbolizes continuous growth and expansion. This concept is expressed through three main design languages: spatial planning and circulation based on the central core, the use of light as a visual language, and color as a tool for brand positioning.
With its characteristic square floor plan, the pantry is placed at the very center of the office, acting as an energy core that both drives and guides the circulation throughout the entire workspace.
I. PANTRY
Beyond its usual function as a place for rest and refreshment, the pantry at Kanetora’s office is designed as the primary energy core, where all circulation paths converge. Every working area within the office can reach the pantry in less than fifteen seconds. Soft white LED lighting, combined with a geometric ceiling design and illuminated concrete columns, creates a diffused glow that reinforces the feeling that this is the most powerful gathering point of energy in the entire office.
II. RECEPTION AREA
Located along the outer circulatory loop, the reception area serves as the starting point of the spatial journey. Here, the architects introduced two key focal elements. The reception desk features a distinctive form that evokes the image of an industrial package being unsealed, directly reflecting Kanetora’s core business in the packaging industry. In addition, a series of intersecting lines and flexible LED strips on the ceiling, floor, and reception desk function not only as sources of illumination, but also as Light Direction Paths, guiding visitors and employees toward the next functional zones within the office.
III. WORKING AREA
The majority of the remaining office space is dedicated to the working area, arranged in an open-plan layout that wraps around the central core. Kanetora’s signature brand blue is applied in defined blocks across the carpet, ceiling, and interior details, subtly dividing different zones without the need for solid partitions, thereby maximizing openness and visual continuity. This use of blue not only reinforces brand identity, but also evokes a sense of calm and reliability, helping to strengthen connection and cohesion among employees.
A system of suspended pendant lights combined with continuous linear LED strips along the corridors creates a consistent visual rhythm, guiding movement and maintaining a seamless connection between functional areas.
The Kanetora office is a harmonious blend of functionality and brand identity. Through the “Core-Driven Design” concept, ICADVietnam has created a workspace that is logical, dynamic, and highly inspiring — a place that reflects both Kanetora’s strength and its ambition to go further.
