The project design to reimagines the communal landscape as a space that reflects the rhythms of two contrasting user groups which is the introspective Nerds and the energetic Activists. Rather than designing for a generalized public, the landscape embraces a dual character, with each group inspiring a distinct spatial language.
Vertical lines, inspired by the rhythm of library bookshelves, the design translates this structured aesthetic into a spatial design language which expressed through linear forms, organized patterns, and even the pavilion’s architectural gestures that define contemplative zones where Nerds can read, study, and reflect both indoors and outdoors. In contrast, zigzag and diagonal forms channel the dynamic energy of Activists, shaping athletic areas, performance corners, and vibrant gathering spaces. These geometries weave through the site like currents of movement and pause.
Rooted in a clear design intention to softening the contrast between these lifestyles. Lush planting, filtered light, and natural textures foster a quiet dialogue between people and nature to restoring attention, reducing stress, and nurturing a deeper connection to the environment, whether users seek solitude or stimulation.
At the heart of the site lies a 50-meter swimming pool, unfolding into a sequence of zones from a jacuzzi area to floating terraces which is promote interaction, play, and relaxation. Altogether, the landscape becomes a choreography of contrasts: where thoughtful design meets everyday experience, and where diverse users connect through a shared, nature-infused space.
