Located near the lush expanse of Lumpini Park in the heart of Bangkok, Klass Sarasin transforms its compact footprint into a serene green sanctuary. Inspired by the intimate, hidden corners of the park, VV Desine introduces the “Hidden Garden” concept that brings privacy, greenery, and calmness into the daily lives of urban dwellers.
At the heart of the project lies a linear courtyard anchored by a L-shape swimming pool. The space is intentionally minimal yet immersive, creating a seamless visual flow that encourages relaxation and a connection to nature. Trees are strategically planted along building edges to provide privacy for residents, mixed of shrub plant along with the green wall especially on lower floors. This layered planting design allows residents to see and enjoy serene garden views without obstruction.
The project steps back from the property line to allow space for greenery along the public sidewalk. This not only enhances the pedestrian experience but also restores a sense of calm along the urban corridor. Through thoughtful landscape intervention, this project redefines small-space urban living and turning the landscape into a living, breathing buffer between residents and the city. The result is a private retreat that softens the boundaries between architecture and ecology, comfort and context.
