Founded in 1994, Fragmentos is an architecture practice driven by purpose, collaboration and long-term commitment to people and place. What began as a shared vision between four friends has evolved into a multidisciplinary studio of over 60 professionals, integrating architecture, engineering, interiors, sustainability and communication within a cohesive design process. Our work is grounded in the belief that meaningful architecture emerges from dialogue, be it with clients, collaborators or contexts and communities. We approach each project as a unique opportunity to balance aesthetic clarity, technical rigor and social responsibility, shaping spaces that respond sensitively to their cultural, economic and environmental conditions.
Fragmentos operates across a wide range of scales and typologies, from housing and hospitality to public facilities and urban regeneration. Our portfolio reflects a commitment to transforming existing contexts through thoughtful rehabilitation, adaptive reuse and carefully considered new construction, ensuring continuity between past, present and future. Innovation in our practice lies not in formal experimentation alone, but in process: an integrated, multidisciplinary workflow that enables consistency, efficiency and design integrity from concept to completion. By combining technical expertise with critical thinking and attentive listening, we deliver architecture that is both precise and humane.
Beyond building, Fragmentos extends its practice into visual communication, editorial production and knowledge sharing, understanding these as natural extensions of architectural culture. More than an office, Fragmentos is a collaborative space where architecture is practiced as a cultural act, disciplined yet open, contemporary yet rooted in enduring values of integrity, generosity and collective effort.
