On Rua do Alecrim, in Misericórdia, Lisbon, the project recovers the original identity of a Pombaline building, improving its performance and restoring the quality of everyday use. A central courtyard is introduced to structure circulation and bring natural light into the surrounding apartments. The building holds eight apartments across its upper floors, with retail use maintained at street level.
A mansard roof and redesigned dormer windows improve natural light and integrate the building within the surrounding urban fabric; a winter garden completes the top level.
