The project converts two adjoining historic buildings, the 18th-century Palácio da Anunciada and the 19th-century Prédio Nobre, in Lisbon, into an 83-room, five-star hotel. The emblematic and architecturally valuable elements of both pre-existing structures were preserved: the vestibule, the grand staircase and four noble rooms remain intact, alongside a century-old dragon tree in the central garden.
The intervention reconstructs the mansard floors and adds a new architectural wing to accommodate the hotel programme, including gardens, a spa and a restaurant. In 2020 the project received the National Reabilitation Award and the National Real Estate Award in the Tourism and Building of the Year categories.
