Located in Alcabideche, Cascais, the house sits in an extensive pine forest. The design combines contrasting materials, the texture of stone and wood against light-toned stuccoed surfaces and resin coatings, with projecting fins that break up the main volume and integrate planting into the architecture. The northern façade is partly embedded into the terrain; the rear opens through large glazed surfaces that bring the garden and surrounding landscape into the house.
The two-storey layout places social spaces on the lower level, arranged as a sequence of living and dining rooms shaped by their relationship to the terrain and solar exposure. The upper floor holds four suites, each with a balcony overlooking the garden. A green roof, planted to replicate the surrounding vegetation, closes the composition and blends the volume into its setting.
