Spanx, a premier women’s shapewear and intimate apparel company, experienced terrific growth in the market and outgrew their existing space. The company desired a new office design supportive of their mission to help women feel great about themselves.One of the key design features is an upscale upholstered elevator lobby and red box reception “living room.” Warm and inviting, this sets the tone for the residential feel of the entire office. The classic color combinations support the Spanx brand and give the space rich texture while allowing the neutral products to stand out. This is not your typical corporate office; red floral accent carpeting, mirrored table tops, accent rugs and chandeliers provide the workstation neighborhoods with character and charm.The new office design emphasizes curves and gives the space a unique personality. The offices were designed at the interior of the space to promote views, natural light and accessibility to the windows for the entire staff. Storage was a key consideration and specialized solutions were developed. In addition, Damask tackable walls allow staff to post samples and work in progress as well as personal mementos in their home away from hom
