The project developed by Two Arquitetura for the Ricardo Almeida store at Shopping Pátio Higienópolis emerged as an extension of the concept created for Ricardo Almeida Studio at Cidade Matarazzo.
The brief was to democratize the architectural haute couture experience developed at the studio, making it accessible to a broader audience without compromising the brand's characteristic sophistication. Two found in Ricardo Almeida's meticulous profile — recognized for the mathematical precision and impeccable symmetry of his bespoke suits — the conceptual foundation to translate the studio's language into a commercial environment.
The same obsession with details and geometric rigor that define his creations guided every architectural decision. Located in a prime position within the shopping center, the store took advantage of the generous ceiling height to create a distinctive spatial experience. Two chose to maintain the double-height ceiling, conferring monumentality to the environment and establishing a striking contrast with conventional mall stores.
The design strategy adopted the same radical minimalist language of the studio: few displayed pieces gain absolute prominence. The dark and monochromatic palette, clean lines, and geometric volumes replicate the aesthetic developed in the original project. The materiality maintains the excellence standards established at Ricardo Almeida Studio, creating visual continuity between the brand's spaces. The lighting follows the same technical principles, ensuring impeccable presentation of the pieces.
The result is commercial architecture that functions as a natural extension of the "architectural haute couture" concept, where each spatial element reflects the philosophy of excellence that has defined Ricardo Almeida for four decades.
