Our vision for Prienai City - an active, comfortable and engaging space where nature, community and modern architecture meet.
As part of the Nemunas riverside beautification competition, we proposed a project that not only connects the city's disparate public spaces, but also provides new opportunities for recreation, connectivity and community activities. We aimed to preserve and enhance the natural identity of the Nemunas riverside by organically incorporating pedestrian and cycling paths, viewpoints, recreation and active leisure areas.
What makes this project stand out?
- We have created convenient connections between the city and the river by creating new pedestrian and cycling paths, bridges and viewpoints.
- We have offered a range of recreational spaces, from relaxation areas to active leisure solutions, including children's playgrounds, barbecue areas and even a barefoot path.
- Sustainability and integration into nature - we have preserved the existing landscape, reinforced embankments and applied environmentally friendly solutions.
