A modern sports and wellness complex is being designed in Raseiniai, featuring a 25-meter, four-lane swimming pool, entertainment and relaxation areas, and a sauna area. The new facility will become an important part of the city’s sports and public health infrastructure, providing residents with opportunities to spend their free time actively, learn to swim, and improve their physical well-being.
The planned complex will be built next to the Viktoras Petkus Lower Secondary School and Sports School, creating a unified sports and educational infrastructure area. This location will ensure convenient access to the facility for students, professional athletes, and all residents of the district.
In developing the project, special attention is being paid to the functional layout of the interior spaces, visitor comfort, universal accessibility, and sustainable engineering solutions. The building is being designed to meet the highest energy efficiency standards, incorporating renewable energy sources – solar power and geothermal energy – which will reduce operating costs and ensure the complex’s cost-effective operation.
Once the project is completed, the Raseiniai District will gain a modern swimming pool and wellness complex that will help promote physical activity among residents, develop children’s swimming skills, and expand high-quality sports and recreational services in the region.
