The new residential compound is located
on the south/west bank of Iseo Lake. The new residence is designed to integrate
into the existing landscape, harking back to the idea of stone terraces, thus
allowing for panoramic views on the lake and developing a sustainable approach
to the environment. The project aims to establish a correlation between
architecture and territory and that’s why we conceive the architectural project
as a territorial project, by virtue of its landscape, cultural and social
aspects. The buildings are characterized by Xlam laminated wood structures
(certified wood). The benefits of wooden constructions are based on a design
protocol that focuses on the consumer’s welfare and guarantees high thermal and
acoustic comfort, speed of construction, and safety in case fire and
earthquake. Local stone coverings, wooden windows, lamellar wood pergolas,
green roofs, wide terraces and solariums with view on the lake characterize the
houses. Each unit is equipped with an independent radiant floor heating and
cooling system, fed by a heat pump integrated with solar panels.
The lots enjoy high-quality public areas
such as gardens, terraces and two swimming pools, improving the life quality of
the entire compound.
