Martis 663 is a serene retreat designed for relaxation and recreation. Designed by sagemodern, this nearly 6,000-square-foot home embraces a modern, elegant aesthetic while framing picturesque views of the surrounding pine forest.
The home was constructed using 5 prefabricated modules with a site-built great room and roof. This combination allowed the project to take advantage of the efficiency and precision of modular construction while creating a spacious central gathering space. The modules are radially configured around a central axis, with each pointing outwards to a unique view of the surrounding forest. This layout allows greater flow between rooms and creates a more unique, organic shape.
The interior, designed by Hills and Grant, is defined by delicate walnut wood finishes, complementary blue accents, and refined steel details. Throughout the home, large windows and carefully framed views connect the interior to the surrounding forest. Outside, multiple fire pits and cozy lounge areas extend the living space into the landscape, offering inviting places to gather, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful setting throughout all times of day.
