Our architectural proposal aims to respect the desire to upgrade the architectural heritage of Francis Soler's former housing project.
To accompany these ambitions, we have opted for a contemporary design of the facades, architectural details and a qualitative choice of materials: a unique mineral skin covers the facades on the solid parts retaining the appearance and layout of the original drawing.
We selected the most similar colors to the original cladding and kept the type of anodized aluminum joinery to sustain the renovation of the facades.
Each apartment keeps its individual access since the passage, as the initial project. The exterior stairs are now protected by a transparent metal mesh deployed to highlight the existing structure.
This technical update gives a new life to "the city by small ends" while keeping its architectural and social identity.
