Located in Vinh Luong, on the outskirts of the coastal city of Nha Trang, the project is nestled within a pristine valley characterized by complex, steep mountainous terrain and dense vegetation. The primary challenge for the design team was to create a high-end, multi-utility eco-resort without compromising the indigenous ecosystem. The significant elevation differences required the architecture to adapt flexibly, solving the problem of minimizing land leveling while effectively responding to the harsh tropical microclimate.
Guided by the core philosophy of "Nature-reliant, Hidden architecture, and Senses-awakening experience," the project presents a groundbreaking vision. From the very first touchpoint at the stone and bamboo entrance gate, the architecture blurs the boundaries between artificial forms and the tropical forest, creating sweeping, organic structures that harmonize perfectly with the landscape.
To materialize this philosophy, the project prioritizes the use of sustainable, indigenous materials such as bamboo, rammed earth, natural stone, wood, and thatch. This combination not only achieves absolute visual integration but also optimizes thermal insulation performance. Crucially, the construction process honors the traditional manual techniques of local artisans and builders. This handcrafted approach allows the structures to gently "touch" the ground in sensitive topographical areas inaccessible to heavy machinery, simultaneously minimizing transport-related carbon emissions and stimulating the local economy.
The master plan functions as a tightly connected ecosystem. The heart of the project is the central landscape lake, which plays a vital role in naturally regulating the microclimate. Adjacent to the water is the "Farm-to-Table" restaurant featuring an open architectural layout, accompanied by a sunset rooftop cafe space and vibrant artisanal craft workshops.
Venturing deeper into the project, the Experimental Agriculture Zone applies permaculture models to cultivate medicinal and organic gardens while creating an inspiring outdoor community campfire space. Separated from that rhythmic energy, the Quiet & Healing Resort Zone is absolutely concealed beneath the densest forest canopy to ensure profound tranquility. Treehouse bungalows with valley-facing balconies, luxury glamping tents, and yoga platforms delicately weave into nature, strictly adhering to the principle of zero land excavation.
The journey of discovery is seamlessly connected by an internal electric buggy route and a network of Land Art pedestrian trails. Vinh Luong Homestay orchestrates a flawless emotional transition: from the awe-inspiring vibrancy of the dynamic center to the deep, restorative serenity found amidst the untouched wilderness.
