Located within the Beau Plan Smart City, The Strand Lakeside Offices is conceived as a workplace embedded within a broader landscape-driven environment. Positioned along the edge of a central lake, the project forms part of a pedestrian-oriented urban sequence, where movement, nature, and daily activity intersect.
The architectural approach draws from the local context while integrating a contemporary spatial language. Buildings are arranged to frame views, maximise natural light, and encourage permeability between indoor and outdoor spaces. The central promenade acts as both a circulation spine and a social interface, supporting a more fluid and connected working environment.
Sustainability is integral to the project’s design logic. Passive strategies — including orientation, shading, and natural ventilation — are combined with efficient systems to reduce environmental impact and enhance user comfort. This approach has been recognised through EDGE certification, reflecting measurable performance in energy, water, and material efficiency.
Awarded at the International Property Awards 2023–2024, The Strand represents a considered response to contemporary workplace needs — where architecture supports both environmental responsibility and quality of experience.
