Shakuntalam at Delhi-NCR has a futuristic take on Indian heritage with a contemporised rendition of the tradition that talks of the timeless sentiments behind the ethnicwear. Chequered stone floors, rafter beams, cornices and more details bring a more minimal reinterpretation from traditional architecture to give a regal character befitting the bespoke brand. Handcrafted details in wood, brass and cane glorify the local craft with rich textures while bringing the much essential warmth with their yellow-brown undertones. A striking display of wooden beads strung together by brass pipes recalls the sewing craft while the motifs reminiscent of embroidery are spread across the store as accents.
