The Sabino Apartment, an interior design project by Matheus Farah and Manoel Maia Arquitetura, starts with a 194 m² floor plan to accommodate a family of four, consisting of a couple and two children. The project emphasizes the spaciousness of the areas and, most importantly, the city view that can be enjoyed from both the dining room and living room. It features a large social area for family and friends to gather, integrated with the urban landscape of São Paulo’s West Zone.
Regarding finishes, the design highlights American oak wood and the use of Mr. Cryl texture in the kitchen, which includes a barbecue option, evoking the appearance of exposed concrete. Other standout features include custom-made wood and fabric furniture as well as Baiteg Blue stone flooring.
The private area is accessed via a corridor, ensuring the family’s routine is kept private. The layout includes three suites, the largest of which features a walk-in closet that combines elegance and practicality for daily living. The design prioritizes neutral tones, complemented by wood flooring that adds both aesthetic value and thermal comfort. The suite bathrooms, finished in white marble, benefit from natural ventilation and lighting systems, creating a harmonious atmosphere.
Connected to the private area, the home office comfortably accommodates remote work needs, featuring a desk, bookshelves, and ergonomic chairs. From there, one can access the spacious service area, which is also reachable through the kitchen via a discreetly installed door. The service area, clad in green hydraulic tiles, includes a laundry room, storage cabinets, a technical area for air conditioning units, and a support bathroom.
The lighting design for the Sabino Apartment was developed by Senzi Lighting Design and features track lighting with spotlights, recessed spotlights, and built-in lighting fixtures in the suites.
