When tasked with re-imagining a multi-level commercial workspace, the Amicus Commercial Interior Design Team embraced the challenge of creating a cohesive environment that balances contemporary appeal with enduring sophistication. The project encompassed a complete revitalisation of lift lobbies, amenities, and speculative suites across multiple floors, demanding a design approach that would elevate first impressions while enhancing daily functionality for all users.
The client's vision called for a refreshed aesthetic that would stand the test of time—sophisticated yet approachable, elegant yet comfortable. This brief required our team to develop a design language that could unify disparate spaces while maintaining the flexibility to adapt to future workplace evolution.
Design Strategy & Implementation
Lift Lobby Transformation - Understanding that lift lobbies serve as the critical first impression for every visitor, our design team prioritised creating an elevated sensory experience. Through careful consideration of acoustics, lighting design, and material selection, each lobby now provides a warm, sophisticated introduction that sets expectations for the quality of space beyond. The refined aesthetic creates lasting impressions while establishing a consistent design vocabulary throughout the building.
Amenity Space Redesign - Levels 2, 4, and 8 received comprehensive amenity upgrades guided by contemporary design principles. Our approach centred on creating environments that balance energy and tranquillity through a carefully curated material palette. Warm, textured finishes combine with thoughtfully designed ambient lighting to establish spaces that feel both calming and invigorating. Strategic colour integration and rich material selections enhance the user experience while maintaining the sophisticated aesthetic established throughout the project.
Speculative Suite Design - The speculative suites represent a forward-thinking approach to workplace design, prioritising both employee wellbeing and operational flexibility. Curved architectural elements create intuitive circulation patterns, softening the built environment while guiding natural movement through the space. The design incorporates varied work modes within an elegant framework, ensuring adaptability for future tenants and evolving work practices.
