Located adjacent to Kalemegdan Fortress in the historic center of Belgrade, Kalemegdan Park is a high-end mixed-use residential development conceived as a contemporary urban block that responds to one of the city's most prominent locations. Developed from the winning proposal of an international architectural competition, the project integrates residential, commercial, and cultural functions while reinforcing the surrounding street network and public realm.
The development comprises four underground levels, ground floor, five upper floors, and a recessed top floor (4Po+Pr+5+Ps), accommodating 24 luxury residences, a business apartment, commercial spaces, and a cultural venue. Organized into three interconnected volumes, the building creates a clear hierarchy of public and private spaces while introducing landscaped terraces and green roofs that extend residential living into the open air.
The architectural expression is defined by a ventilated façade system combining Neolith panels, glass curtain walls, and custom GFRC (fiber-reinforced concrete) elements, creating a contemporary identity while responding to the significance of its historic surroundings. Large terraces, high-performance glazing, and carefully detailed materials reinforce the project's emphasis on quality, durability, and urban integration.
