In need of modern classrooms, lecture halls, student gathering spaces, offices, and laboratories to support its programs, Harper College recently completed significant renovations to three prominent campus buildings.
Buildings G and H provide vocational programs. Existing structures were completed renovated and additions provide for additional program areas and mechanical spaces. The buildings house the institution’s public safety, HVAC, welding/fabrication, and interior design/fashion design departments. A central clerestory roof addition opens to the interior corridors and brings natural light to the new two-story connecting volume. A new pedestrian bridge links the adjacent G and H buildings and a new parking garage.
