This 2 million square foot facility houses two separate trading areas, conferencing facilities and administrative support facilities. The integration of electric light and daylight with a unique ceiling and clerestory design provides a comfortable and attractive work environment. Extensive daylighting studies were completed to support the design of appropriate automated shading systems, required to prevent direct and sky brightness glare during specific times of the year, while allowing "usable daylight" throughout most of the day. The public spaces were designed to enhance the environment and stimulate interaction between staff members and visiting clients.
