BENCH U _ LINE to autorska wizja Dominiki Blažek, stanowiąca pomost między rzeźbą a architekturą krajobrazu. Projekt jest ewolucją minimalistycznej linii „U”, w której funkcja siedziska zostaje wpisana w geometryczny monolit.
Kluczowym elementem projektu jest dialog materiałowy. Dominika Blažek zestawia sterylną, niemal futurystyczną gładkość Corianu® z organicznym ciepłem naturalnego drewna. Drewniana wstawka, biegnąca wzdłuż osi mebla, nie tylko przełamuje chłód kompozytu, ale wyznacza ergonomiczną strefę kontaktu z ciałem użytkownika.
Projekt dedykowany jest przestrzeniom o wysokim standardzie estetycznym – od terminali lotniczych po nowoczesne ogrody prywatne.
Dzięki zastosowaniu Corianu, ławka sprawia wrażenie wyciętej z jednego bloku materii, oferując jednocześnie trwałość niezbędną w infrastrukturze publicznej.
BENCH U _ LINE is a signature vision by Dominika Blažek, serving as a bridge between sculpture and landscape architecture. The project is an evolution of the minimalist "U" line, where the seating function is integrated into a geometric monolith.
The core of the design lies in the material dialogue. Dominika Blažek juxtaposes the sterile, almost futuristic smoothness of Corian® with the organic warmth of natural wood. The wooden inlay, running along the axis of the piece, does more than just break the coolness of the composite; it defines an ergonomic contact zone for the user.
Designed for high-end environments—ranging from airport terminals to modern private gardens—the bench appears to be carved from a single block of material. Through the use of Corian, it achieves a seamless aesthetic while providing the durability required for public infrastructure.
