A total revamp— everything from brand perception to how customers are being served—for an existing skincare brand that was seen as intimidating.
We wanted to design the entire experience to be non-intimidating and natural, a much more softer and subtle approach than before.
To build a welcoming atmosphere, we worked with neutral, earthy tones for the outside space to usher one in.
The demo and display area are combined as one, as a main island feature so that the consulting and selling can be done together in a more casual and natural way.
Anake is based on science of DNA so we came up with a showcase wall that’s inspired by this cellular structure. Information is displayed in a more “show and tell” format with a mixture of products, ingredients, and inspiration on display. Customers are encouraged to browse and explore products on their own so it’s less imposing.
Some of their products use LED coloured lights as a treatment so we also decided to reflect that via lighting therapy in the treatment rooms. One room is purple while the other has a blue hue.
