For LiHO Tea, the approach was simple — we wanted to make bubble tea fun again. We also wanted to place emphasis on LiHO Tea being Singapore’s first homegrown bubble tea brand. Hence, we anchored our design around the theme: The Little Red Dot.
With its flagship location being at Vivo City, we thought this was of particular significance.
Keeping in mind the fast-paced, high-turnover nature of the business, the layout was kept simple and functional. Colours used were kept to white and red, colours symbolic of Singapore.
With bubble tea being such a universal and mass product, we wanted the theme to be easily understood by all ages. Two- toned polka dots blanket the space from wall to celling, while cascading red spheres are suspended from the ceiling. We wanted to create that sense of fun and wonder in the space by encouraging people to look up and around.
