We create architecture that strengthens communities. Led by Jennifer Sage FAIA, and Peter Coombe AIA, Sage and Coombe Architects has built a portfolio focused on social infrastructure through diverse projects ranging from the multiphase transformation of the Noguchi Museum to the design of the next generation of New York City phone booths. Over two decades, our team has designed libraries, parks, firehouses, athletic facilities, art centers, and schools for all ages—and from time to time, we take on a beach house, townhouse, or penthouse. For New York City's Design Excellence Initiative, we created an award-winning prototype for park facilities that was adopted as the new standard. We worked with the New York City Mayor's office to help rebuild the Rockaways after Hurricane Sandy.
