This expansion of The Flanagan Campus Center at Beatty Hall focused on transforming the 1969 facility – sitting at the heart of Wentworth's campus – into a state-of-the-art center for the modern student. This 50,000 SF project included expanding and renovating the Institute's dining commons, fitness center, bookstore and student affairs offices, as well as integrating a new entry pavilion meant to express the student activities housed within the building. This pavilion, facing Wentworth's main quad, is highly transparent, allowing visual connections from the highly active student center to the campus beyond. The unique environmental graphics, featured at the student “huddle” zones, speak to Wentworth's identity and celebrate the Institute's history and culture.
