The Reading Hospital and Medical Center's new Patient Care Center addresses and resolves major campus issues.

The 7-story clinical structure expands and integrates critical services that are landlocked in the existing campus and allows the Hospital to replace and upgrade a large complement of inpatient beds to better serve the growing population. The building serves as the heart of the campus redevelopment knitting together disparate, fragmented programs and disjointed site circulation, while strengthening patient care in a warm, inviting atmosphere. To better serve the new facility, Ballinger also designed a multi-story parking garage and redesigned the Hospital's Main Entrance. Ballinger has been responsible for additional campus planning and renovations for OB, Pediatrics, Surgery, Laboratory Services and Interventional Radiology.
