Nestled within the XFINITY Center at the University of Maryland, this luxurious retreat enhances the campus experience with an upscale dining room, refined bar, courtside luxe lounges overlooking the arena, private event spaces, and more. Thoughtfully blending opulent elements with subtle nods to the University’s heritage, CORE’s design creates a space that is both sophisticated and deeply connected to Maryland’s identity.
Members and guests enter the club through a discreet portal that exudes understated luxury and transitions into a welcoming reception area. Here, design details like hexagonal tables, inspired by the terrapin shell, set the tone for an ambiance that is both refined and grounded. Rich textures and neutral tones are complemented by deep reds and brass accents. University relics and custom wallpaper, featuring vintage collegiate articles, adorn the walls in carefully curated areas. And, adding a touch of surprise, the Maryland state flag-inspired screen unveils the bar, which serves as a key focal point in the space.
