Found in the world’s most luxurious homes, the Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove brands are synonymous with iconic design and incomparable performance. Twenty years after the Madison-based appliance company’s first showroom opened, many locations across the country no longer represented the brands’ products or reputation for excellence.
A complete renovation of the Atlanta, Georgia, showroom updated both finishes and flow to better reflect the brand’s new design standards and create an elevated experience for buyers and dealers.
The showroom’s relocated demonstration kitchen and bar/lifestyle area on opposite ends of the space now encourage buyers to explore and linger while premium finishes and custom millwork throughout offer counterpoints to the appliances’ sleek glass and stainless steel.
Upon entry, customers are greeted by a reception area where layers of texture, a glass ceiling, and a custom Preciosa handblown crystal and brass tiered light fixture create an illusion of a double volume space. A new half wall creates a purposeful flow from reception to a pre-function space leading to the demonstration kitchen.
Visitors enter the demonstration kitchen through a layered edge limestone stone arch, back lit and surrounded by a textured wallcovering. In the demonstration area kitchen, where function is as important as form, an array of appliances are compactly displayed for use. A commercial hood wrapped in a dark metal mesh hangs from a custom blonde walnut ceiling of layered circles that nods to the building’s curved exterior.
