Nestled in Teshikaga, Hokkaido, stands a distinctive tower-shaped sauna that blends advanced technology with traditional sauna culture. This architectural gem features free-form curved designs on both its interior and exterior, meticulously crafted from solid Cypress wood. These elegant curves were shaped using a state-of-the-art 5-axis CNC machine at VUILD's own fabrication facility, showcasing a harmonious blend of natural materials and modern technology.
The interior of the sauna is ingeniously designed to allow users to discover their ideal temperature. By ascending in a spiral motion, visitors experience a gradient of warmth, with temperatures increasing on higher floors. This design leverages the principle that heat rises, ensuring a unique thermal journey. The journey culminates at the top, where a spacious area awaits, large enough for an adult to recline comfortably.
