Padrinho’s headquarters was conceived as a space for connections. An environment where people and ideas come together to build narratives and strengthen relationships. The project materializes the essence of the company by creating an architecture that brings teams closer, encourages the circulation of knowledge and supports the collective construction of the stories that are part of its daily life.
The project development began with an understanding of the company’s organizational culture and the dynamics that shape its everyday routine. Composed of journalists and communication professionals, Padrinho operates across different areas while sharing a common purpose: giving form, depth and relevance to the narratives it produces. Architecture thus emerges as a tool capable of supporting this collective process.
The spatial organization was structured around the strongest synergies between the company’s three hubs - content, press relations and audiovisual. The intention was to create an open environment where different fields of knowledge could continually come together. The space was designed to encourage encounters, stimulate the exchange of knowledge and strengthen the collective construction of narratives.
Among the most symbolic environments within the headquarters is the recording studio, conceived as a place for welcoming and dialogue. The space represents a territory for conversations, where experiences, knowledge and stories become content. Acoustic performance, flexibility of use and comfort were carefully incorporated to create an atmosphere that invites people to stay and makes conversation part of the spatial experience itself.
Throughout the project development, an unexpected discovery became part of the architectural language. The original proposal called for minimal intervention, preserving the existing ceiling and installed light fixtures, in keeping with the premise of optimizing resources and reducing the need for new interventions. However, during the localized removal of part of the ceiling, required for the construction of the double acoustic-insulation wall, the material beauty of the existing concrete slab was revealed, becoming a record of the building’s history. From that moment on, the design direction was immediately rewritten. The decision to keep the slab exposed expanded the spatial perception of the environments and reinforced the headquarters’ technical, creative and adaptable character.
Materiality also acts as an element of connection. The brand colors were strategically distributed throughout the space, while the presence of natural elements, the collaborative layout and the simplicity of the materials contribute to reducing stress, increasing concentration and strengthening bonds in everyday work.
The project proposes a space capable of strengthening connections between people, knowledge and different forms of practice. A place where architecture supports the circulation of ideas and demonstrates that the best stories emerge when they find space to be built collectively.
