Oora Skin Labs is a 250-square-meter skincare and beauty clinic in Setiabudi, Jakarta, designed by INSADA to translate the precision of contemporary skincare into a warm, immersive spatial experience.
The design concept draws from the qualities of skin—layered, seamless, protective, and luminous. This idea informs the spatial sequence, material palette, and architectural language throughout the clinic. The plan is organized into three experiential zones: a welcoming public reception, a transitional circulation zone, and a series of private treatment rooms designed for acoustic comfort and serenity.
Material selection responds to the dual demands of hospitality and clinical hygiene. Homogeneous tiles provide durability in high-traffic areas, while wood-look vinyl introduces warmth and tactility. Curved drywall elements and custom wall finishes soften the architectural envelope and reinforce the project's fluid, skin-inspired geometry.
A restrained palette of warm cream, alabaster, taupe, and subtle pink accents reflects Oora's Korean beauty identity without relying on conventional clinical aesthetics. Through careful spatial planning, materiality, and brand integration, the project creates a contemporary beauty environment that bridges clinical functionality with the atmosphere of a refined hospitality interior.
