Shaped by visual connectivity, where space, light, and landscape move as one. The living room opens to the pool deck and flows into the den, forming a continuous panorama where boundaries soften and everyday moments extend outward. Light filters through, water reflects, and air moves freely, creating an environment that feels natural, unforced, and alive.
Guided by permeability, the architecture invites both nature and people into a shared field of experience. Walls define with intent, yet remain responsive, framing views, allowing sightlines to unfold, and supporting a quiet sense of openness throughout the home.
Originally conceived as a weekend retreat in the south, the house has evolved into the family’s primary residence. Its foundation draws from alumana, a sense of malasakit and mindfulness, expressed through a Modern Filipino approach attuned to tropical living. Natural ventilation, daylight, and ‘maaliwalas’ spaces shape an atmosphere that restores, centers, and sustains.
Here, presence expands. Movement, view, and stillness come together, forming a home that carries ease, awareness, and a deep sense of belonging.
