The building consists of a glazed ground-floor base accommodating office, retail, and restaurant functions. It is topped with a roof that is accessible and usable by residents as a hanging garden.
Above the ground floor, two volumes face one another. One, facing Rue des Bruyères, incorporates office space and offers good visibility for businesses, contributing through its function to the liveliness of the street.
The other, on the "park" side, houses residential units oriented southwest, facing a wooded area and set back from Rue des Bruyères.
The progressive setbacks of the volumes as they rise through the floors create roof terraces and green roofs that can be appropriated by the different users.
The exterior façades of the main volume are made up of dark-toned expanded metal elements that create a link between the residential and office functions. The interior façades feature warm-toned render, reinforcing the convivial character of the interior courtyard.
The whole project has been designed with a view to energy optimization and environmental responsibility, favoring, for example, the use of bio-based materials (timber frame structure for floors 1 to 4). Furthermore, in application of the circular economy principle, the building has been designed with future dismantling in mind.
