This project centers around the transformation of a private villa’s basement into an exclusive casino and entertainment zone. Designed as a luxurious, high-energy retreat, the space merges bold aesthetics with immersive functionality, offering areas for billiards, poker, and a bar—each carefully orchestrated under a unifying design language.
The concept draws heavily on theatricality and excitement, evoked through a rich palette of deep reds, warm metallics, and dynamic lighting. The ceiling serves as the primary architectural device (in this project), driving the spatial organization and emotional tone of the environment. Each activity zone is defined by a unique ceiling intervention, where reflective, maze-like forms descend to engage directly with the user experience below, creating a physical and visual connection between form and function.
The project is structured around a continuous design motif: stripe morphology. These linear elements flow seamlessly from the ceiling into the walls and down onto the flooring, reinforcing the sense of movement and cohesion. The stripes not only define circulation and spatial boundaries but also anchor each functional zone within the open-plan layout.
At the bar, suspended glassware and mirrored surfaces amplify the atmosphere of indulgence. In the billiard and poker areas, subtle shifts in lighting and material create moments of intimacy within the larger space. Every design decision reinforces the core identity of space: a glamorous, playful hideaway with cinematic drama.
