An existing cramped and cluttered storage room was converted into a fully functional classroom with a flexible layout that incorporated the room’s existing utilities.
The small existing windows were removed and replaced with larger ones to provide the classroom with fresh air and daylight.
The design includes new casework, flooring, doors, a new dropped ceiling and pendant lighting fixtures and the walls were painted.
New smart boards, white boards and tack boards were also incorporated into the design to facilitate teaching and display teaching aids and student work.
