SPAN Architecture returned for the 2014 Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club Decorator Show House, creating a Grand Salon that received twice as many visitors as last year.

Taking a sweeping central space that unites a range of rooms and access venues on the floor, the design reflects an interplay between the found and the constructed. A series of whitened frames serve as a foil to the neoclassical order of the room, resulting in a space with an intriguing tension between old and new, found and created.
