The hotel, a true architectural landmark of rationalism in the Canary Islands, has been adapted to new functional, technological, and energy efficiency requirements while preserving its extraordinary personality. After studying the work of Miguel Martín through files from the hotel itself, historical archives, and FEDAC, the proposal reintroduces all the original characteristics, designs, and drawings of Miguel Martín into the rooms.
In the rooms, interior perspectives are multiplied with a completely new design, creating an interesting play of reflections and changes in light using two main colors: black and white, a neutral color palette that creates an elegant and timeless atmosphere. Upholstery combines with vegetal colors for poufs, armchairs, and beds, while the flooring and walls are clad in wood, providing warmth to the space.
