Grandpa Johnson's, the newest cocktail restaurant and bar in West Hollywood, is Art Deco with a nice twist. The honey colored wood floors also feature black chevron stripes that span across the floor, up the walls and continue onto the ceiling. The highlight of the entire bar is the actual bar itself. Inspired by an old photograph of a giant redwood tree truck, the bar features a curved brass bar with a marble top inlay-ed. The bar contours to the curve of the body waiting to order a drink.
"It’s a handsome little lair wrapped floor-to-ceiling in shiny blond woods, white marble and semiprecious metals." - Urban Daddy Press
